@gbryant @gardiner_bryant as you asked for other #OpenSource games: #Warzone2100, #0ad and #7kaa - all fully freely licensed, including assets. I think wz + 7kaa could be particularly interesting for a vid bc. of their history. When we got our first family PC I also got a games collection, which had both the original C&C and 7kaa. So I got super excited when I discovered a few years ago that 7kaa got opensourced. Gameplay-wise wz is my fav. though, love the huge tech-tree.

It's now possible to do a complete playthrough of Cyber Knights! 🎉🎉

We just added the very first retirement storyline!

store.steampowered.com/news/ap

This end-game storyline plays out over the course of 10 missions and culminates in an opportunity for your Cyber Knight (and perhaps some of your squad members) to at last escape to a better life.

It'll take talent, gear, and guts to pull it off. Have you put together a squad that can handle it?

I really want to get a new controller for my linux gaming PC running Bazzite and docked Steam Deck play. I bought one of the cheap PXN controllers and was pretty impressed with it, but the right trigger was stuck in the hair trigger mode. I ended up returning it to Amazon. I was thinking of spending a little more on a Cyclone 2 from Gamesir.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I'd like gyro and back buttons (like the Steam Deck).

Bazzite/Linux Steam people, have you seen this? It would appear something to do with Steam Input plus Flatpak means a DualShock 4 doesn’t work correctly in some games. I’ve personally seen this with Ultimate Chicken Horse on Bazzite, but someone is reporting the same thing with Museum of All Things from Flathub:

New instance, new #introduction post!

Hi, my name is Ed! I go by he/him, and as stated on my profile am a huge heckin' nerd. Came over to this neck of the woods after discovering its existence, as it seemed a bit more descriptive of my general vibes than my previous residence.

EA has open-sourced several Command & Conquer games!

This is fantastic news. Making them open source will help keep the franchise alive, allowing the community to innovate, fix, and enhance.

What do you think the first community projects to emerge will be?
