I’ve let my MS Office expire which means I’m hunting about for a new #email client for my PC. I need one that can handle multiple emails and isn’t run by robber barons. It also needs to work with overwhelmed brains (neurodivergent friendly) Any suggestions?

I’ve downloaded trials for Mailbird and Mailspring so far.

I love my email client because I've set all my emails to Plain text view and haven't looked back since. I also never have to see badly formatted newsletters again! Now, I get emails that say this, which is honestly more than fine by me! I'd rather get this then some badly formatted email.

Er is veel te doen om de nieuwe 'regels' van Firefox.
Nu gebruik ik Thunderbird, wat ook van Mozzila is, voor mijn mail accounts.
Weet iemand of Thunderbird ook de nieuwe regels , zoals die van Firefox, heeft?
Ik heb het nergens kunnen vinden.
Zo ja: wat is een goed vergelijkbaar alternatief voor een desktop pc?
Voor m'n android tablet heb ik K-9 mail, maar die is er niet voor een 'gewone' pc.

Sadly, I didn't find any that would match my needs.

Zoho didn't have a link to a free email, and it seemed a bit over done.

Tuta requires paid for freelancers, so it didn't feel right either. And their fees would add up to more than I make in a year.

Still looking for an #Email provider I can trust that is free, and doesn't ask for my address or phone number. They don't need it.

Okay tech community.

I am looking for a new and free #Email server. My first email was yahoo - 30 years ago. I can’t remember what I used on ThunderBird.

I have been using gmail since it started, and I started trying to publish writing.

So, due to a multitude of illnesses, I am no longer tech savvy.

I need simple, and useable on the #Mac.

I have considered switching to Icloud, but don’t want that.

About six years ago, my writing #Gmail turned into a spam hub, so I had to switch to my junk email to use as my primary business email. I have never been able to get my writing gmail back to no, or even low, spam.

We are not aware of other FOSS development teams that have as extensive knowledge, both theoretical and practical, about #email and #openpgp and regularly release across all platforms for users world wide ... except for #protonmail with whose technical and security experts we discuss regularly. They are the other major game in town doing pervasive email encryption after all. Did you know that Proton's and delta's VCards are compatible across ecosystems and establish immediate encryption?
