Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 13: Miles Morales/Spin
The final Amazing Spidey Friend makes his appearance! And wearing an adorable holiday sweater & headphones (“Sunflower” is currently my three year old’s favorite song).

Really loving the retro vibes of the new 'Captain America: Brave New World' poster.
Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 12: Spider-Man Candy Cane (?)
It’s fine.
#NowWatching The Marvels (2023) First time checking this out. I know it got bad reviews so I'm not expecting much surely it has to be better than the last Ant-Man movie? #movies #MarrvelUniverse #MCU #CaptainMarvel
Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 11: Present Launcher
It’s fine. My three year old gets a kick out of it.
Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 10: Drumset
Following on from yesterday, we get Gwen’s drumset! The coloring matching the Ghost Spider design is a nice touch.
Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 9: Spider-Gwen
With this Ghost Spider minifig, we’re 2 of 3 of the current Amazing Friends for the set. The drumsticks seem like a nod to the Spider-Verse take on the character.
Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 8: #MilesMorales Spidey Mobile
This set’s first non-street related minibuild, a reference to the Miles/Morbius (which means it’s also Morbin’ time) set from 2023. I like the added touch of the exhaust.
Chris Evans is coming back to Avengers, which Cap do you think he will be?
I won't smugly pretend to know the future of the MCU or how the next films will turn out, but on a personal level I'm more curious to see how and when the X-Men will become part of it, fingers crossed adapted by people who know and love the characters. And more importantly, get more info on X-Men '97 season 2.
Also, might be me, but I feel that the cameos and special character appearances in 'Deadpool & Wolverine' worked so well because they were kept as surprises that we didn't know about (most of them) years in advance.
Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 7: Stoplight & Fire Hydrant
More cityscape pieces, featuring some clever builds (the fire hydrant especially is fun, one of those things that could easily just be a molded piece).
Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 6: Hot Dog Cart
Another bit of New York streetscape paraphernalia. The question it begs is, is Venom the customer or the vendor?
Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 5: Venom
Standard Venom minifig, but it comes with a cute winter scarf (ours came with two, so now Spidey can match) plus a hot dog, which I find curiously charming.
Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 4: Streetlight Photo Op
Another cute street scene, this one with Peter’s camera webbed to a streetlight & a banana peel, suggesting a staged photo op, thereby representing Peter’s squishy journalistic ethics.
Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 2: Webs
Once again, just…webs. Dropping the space-filling “weapons rack” on the second day (or at all) sure is a choice.
Marvel Lego Advent Calendar Day 1: Spider-Man
The set this year is Spider-Man (specifically Spidey and His Amazing Friends)-themed leading off w/a standard Spidey minifig
Basic, but the pizza box is nice & my 3 year old is happy to have Spidey
When I am 56, I wish to be as ripped as Hugh Jackman.
