Unpredictable March weather continues. We had rain. The mountains turned white again.
Someone unstable is obviously at the controls. Then, suddenly, we’ll have real spring.
It’s a cycle.
Unless, of course, humans make a mess of it.

Mom is now blaming some other unknown people for not wearing a mask and saying that they probably infected her. No, the irony is not lost on me that she has probably infected many other people.
Mom is somewhere in her 70s. I've noticed that she appears to be developing a decline in making inferences and logical associations. I think this is part of cognitive decline(?).
My sister, who was a pro-ivermectin person, is asking me to get a laundry list of things to cure her.

The time change caught up to me & I overslept exactly an hour. I even dreamt the wrong time.
Extra sleep? I must’ve needed it.
Passed halfway on my edit! All thanks to rediscovering my tenacity. I love watching the blank columns on my sheet disappear.

By tonight I’ll have passed the 50% mark on this edit. I’m proud that I rallied this month & rediscovered my doggedness in the face of grim news & anxiety.
I’m not going to let yet someone else ruin my life.

A great editing day yesterday. Hoping to repeat. I’m so close to halfway through this edit, which is taking too long.
The snow is melting fast & I’m realizing the season I haven’t hiked in here is spring. I’ve heard tales of runoff & must choose carefully.

Feeling musical! 
A few days of Horn practice in a row. Played some scales today that sounded like a real Horn player, almost like I knew what I was doing! 
I'm gonna push it this evening and tune up my classical guitar, too.
(I majored in Music at the University of Iowa, and played Horn for a living 1983-2009. Trying to make a comeback after 16 years off the instrument.)

At last, sleep. I hit the wall last night, but in truth a cascade of events & circumstances have kept sleep at a minimum for weeks.
One night won’t fix this, but it’s a start.

I’m thrilled to have a ton of notes now for Exhumed Reflection, the story that’s demanded my attention for a year.

- made perfect scrambled eggs for breakfast, using the Gordon Ramsey method
- my coffee was excellent this morning

I accomplished an impossible number of tasks yesterday, but now it’s time for an adventure for Evie the Cat and I.

I’ve been completing ignored tasks. Today it’s about dreaded taxes. Mine are easy, but doing them online stresses me out.

On the mountain, yesterday, my car almost got stuck. The road to the trailhead was closed, so I hiked up the road to the trail (pic).
