J. Steven York RESISTS<p>This WWII vintage Link trainer, is the only Warbird I can honestly claim to have flown. My high-school had one almost exactly like this, lovingly restored and fully operational. It's a full motion flying simulator (instruments only, thus the blacked out canopy), and effectively driven by an analog computer. An amazing piece of technology.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/aviation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>aviation</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/AvGeek" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AvGeek</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Warbirds" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Warbirds</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Flying" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Flying</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/museums" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>museums</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/retroTech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>retroTech</span></a></p>
