J. Steven York RESISTSThis WWII vintage Link trainer, is the only Warbird I can honestly claim to have flown. My high-school had one almost exactly like this, lovingly restored and fully operational. It's a full motion flying simulator (instruments only, thus the blacked out canopy), and effectively driven by an analog computer. It's a gorgeous photo, showing her under tow by an orange-red tractor, which plays off the orange-red engine nacelles.I can't find any source for this photo, which I saved to my photos in November 2015.
