Looks like Autumn is on its way, at least according to this tree in Victoria Park in Glasgow.

My second #SilentSunday is this fabulous lilium lancifolium 'Farrer's Form.

It differs from the standard lancifolium by having ridiculously glowing orange flowers held on 7 foot tall stems.

Both are lovely, however this form is brilliant next to purple herbaceous phlox and clematis.

Seems early to have such colour on the Staghorn Sumac (Rhus typhina). #plant #leaves #AutumnIsComing
