Inaction Figure<a href="https://linuxmom.net/@vkc" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@vkc</a> I have used GNU+IMP (that’s probably the best thing to call it now) for a long time in spite of its unfortunate name and unfortunate UI because it seems to be the best FOSS photo/screenshot editor. Version 3.0.0 with non-destructive layer filters and other goodies just landed on my <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Kinoite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Kinoite</a> system last night, and I’m interested to try it!However, maybe it’s time for me to give <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Krita" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Krita</a> a try. Also, I agree that <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Inkscape" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Inkscape</a> is awesome in every way, with no unfortunate baggage.

Justine SmithiesIn light of the continuing outrage and rightly so with a certain graphics app, I'm left wondering if the likes of <a href="https://snac.smithies.me.uk?t=krita" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Krita</a> can do just the same and probably more ? I've never installed it to see as yet as it seems to pull in a lot of KDE Plasma stuff too. But if you kind folk can inform me then maybe I'll give it a shot. 🤔
