Stay with me here...</p><p>I have started following a ton of new hashtags for <a href="https://squawk.mytransponder.com/tags/photography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>photography</span></a>, <a href="https://squawk.mytransponder.com/tags/travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>travel</span></a>, <a href="https://squawk.mytransponder.com/tags/pizza" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pizza</span></a>, <a href="https://squawk.mytransponder.com/tags/nature" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nature</span></a>, <a href="https://squawk.mytransponder.com/tags/DogsofMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DogsofMastodon</span></a> and just now, <a href="https://squawk.mytransponder.com/tags/foodporn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>foodporn</span></a>.</p><p>My theory is if I populate my feed with enough stuff that brings me joy, seeing the few political posts/toots will be easier to bypass if I so choose.</p><p>This is the #1 reason I love this platform. I am in control of my own custom algorithm.
